Tokyo - broken lens

So wednesday i finally changed my travelchecks

I then got ready to leave tokyo, but accidentally brooke my 24-70 lens :( i felt awful as it is really a vital part of my equipement and is also a quite expensive lens. Luckily nikon will repair it and i'll have it back when i'll reach Osaka on the 13th. If i had the lens brooken in italy it would have probably taken much more time to repair. So is not that bad afterall :)

Tokyo - visual kei

So today after trying sumo for the second time i walked around shinjuku and then in the evening Sarah and I attended a visual kei event. I wish i was able to take decent pictures there, but unluckily it was forbidden. I didn't know much about visual kei, but it was a lot of fun to watch both the performers and the girls of fanclubs who where dancing in perfect unison to the songs, really amazing. I got a small video of that, but i m afraid i won t be able to post it from the phone as it may need to be converted.

Btw there is a thing that sell flowers on the tube, haha!

Tokyo - Tokyo tower + Ginza

Today i started visiting the city by myself once again.
I went to the Tokyo tower (some kind of red copy of the eiffel tower but like 8meters higher hehe) and then had some 'bento' in a park as it finally has stopped raining.

From the tower

(..yes that should be me haha)

Then went the zojo-ji buddist temple next of the tower, sorry it is really an awful picture, anyway it was lovely.

Finally i finished the day by visiting The posh Ginza distric, and the laica ginza salon where there was a photographic exibition.
